JERUB is a singer and writer based in Nottingham, UK. He began his journey as an artist in April 2019 when he released his debut single ‘Paint Me in Gold’. This song is sensitive and emotional, please put this song on and close your eyes and really listen to the lyrics. Jerub has a soft and warming voice that is a joy to listen to, he leaves you with goosebumps when he sings. If you like Rag N Bone Man you will love this track, vocally both powerful but Jerub has a softer edge to his vocals. The song builds brilliantly from a musical side, Jerub lets the music at times do its talking, and when you add the powerful words and stunning vocal, we have here a really powerful song.

Speaking of the song, JERUB says “The journey of writing this song really helped me make sense of my emotions in the middle of a crazy year. I really struggled to process all the emotions when the videos of Black people being killed continued to circulate on the internet. I found that I had been bottling up lots of emotions and memories from moments that I experienced racism and had suppressed the feelings for so long. ‘Feel It’ is what came out when I decided to be honest with myself and those around me.”

A really big powerful song that I hope you all check out today.
